Reasons Why I feel Udacity is Worth It

Undoubtedly Udacity is one of the best online educational institutes. I have taken the ‘intro to programming nano degree’ this January.

Here’s the list of what I liked about the platform

Industry-relevant content

Their entire syllabus is created in consideration of industry standards. You are very likely to get hired if you graduate with a nano degree. This can be attributed to their projects. The vast majority of Udacity’s corporative partnerships come from tech organizations like Google and Facebook. And, these corporations need experts who Udacity trains.

Mentorship

I used their mentorship feature only once when I was stuck in a project. They assign you a mentor with whom you can share your doubts. This is a very interesting feature. Always make sure to ask questions from your mentors. Udacity’s learning system is based on graded projects.

Instructors

yes, they are quite knowledgeable and experienced at the same time. In most of their nano degrees, the founder, Sebastian Thrun, teaches himself. Like the self-driving car nanodegree. They explained most of the concepts in depth. I mean I understood most of the things.

Teaching Pattern

As mentioned in a detailed review article on Udacity, the teaching method of udacity is way better than any of the MOOCs like Coursera or Udenmy. They begin with a video lecture and throw some quizzes. This helps in understanding the concepts properly. You get multiple challenging projects.

Projects

There’s no doubt that udacity projects are one of the best in the industry. While doing their projects, I had to do a lot of research and had to revise the concepts. This helped me to grasp the subject properly. Now I am confident that I can make any project work. Thanks to Udacity.

These were some of the interesting features of Udacity Nanodegrees.
